$2 million in support of the Maronite community in Parramatta

Labor Member for Parramatta, Andrew Charlton, today announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver funds to support Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic parish’s piazza and ANZAC Memorial Development at Harris Park.

This $2 million election commitment will support the development of the piazza forecourt and ANZAC Memorial.

The Church piazza will serve as the central community gathering space including for school students, aged care residents, seniors and parishioners.

This development will also include an ANZAC Memorial monument as a mark of respect and in memory of the people who have served our country.

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
